Paddle purchases

Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for orders placed through Paddle. Paddle is the seller, takes the payment and issues any refund, so refund requests are decided under Paddle's refund policy and reviewed one at a time. A purchase is treated as final unless the law where you live says otherwise, or unless one of the cases below applies.

How to ask about a Paddle purchase

Go to paddle.net with the email address you paid with, or use the link in the receipt Paddle sent you. You can also write to hello@aurelight.com and we will take it up with Paddle for you. Quoting the order number from the receipt makes it faster.

How a Paddle refund comes back

Once a refund is approved, Paddle returns it to the payment method you used, normally within 14 days of approval and often much sooner, depending on your bank.

Prepaid VietQR bank transfers

Where enabled, VietQR offers individual Standard and Premium plans prepaid in VND. The exact amount and recipient appear before payment. These plans do not renew automatically. Payment must be verified before AI access starts; renewing the same plan extends its prepaid period without resetting monthly AI usage.

Request a bank-transfer refund from Settings > Subscription in the desktop app, or from your signed VietQR payment page. Include the EGQ order code when contacting hello@aurelight.com. Requests are reviewed individually. An approved bank refund is returned through the bank and recorded after the transfer is verified; submitting a request does not itself send money.

A full refund ends AI access funded by that prepaid term. A partial refund or refund of an older term does not remove access funded by another valid term. Other applicable consumer rights remain unchanged.

Your rights by law

Consumer law where you live comes first, and where it gives you more than this page does, it applies instead. In the EU and the UK that is normally a 14-day right to withdraw from a first purchase, although it can end sooner once you start using a digital service inside that period. Other countries set their own windows, for example seven days in South Korea. Paddle applies whichever rule fits the country you bought from.

Cancelling a Paddle renewal

• You can cancel at any time. Use the subscription link in your Paddle receipt email, or write to us and we will cancel the renewal for you.
• Cancelling stops the next charge. The AI features stay on until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• After it ends, your mail keeps working. The app stays installed, your mailboxes keep syncing and everything already on your computer stays there. Only the AI features stop.

Paddle renewals

A renewal is a further charge on a subscription you already have, not a new purchase, so withdrawal rights normally do not apply to it. Cancel before the renewal date and you are not charged again. If a renewal took you by surprise, write to us before you dispute it. We look at those case by case and we would much rather sort it out with you.

If something is broken

If a feature does not do what this site says it does, tell us at hello@aurelight.com. We either fix it or refund you, whatever the date is.

Before you open a dispute

Please contact us first. A chargeback ends the subscription while your bank decides, which takes weeks and helps neither of us. An email usually settles it the same day.
